About Me

Hello! My name is Bandit, I am a 6 ft digital artist with a hyperfixation on all things spooky, I am also the puppetmaster behind Bandit and my brand aspookypeach. I am just about ready to graduate from college with a degree in animation with a concentration of concept art/visual storytelling and not really sure where my life is heading after that. I know I want to do something art related as a career but not sure what paths to take yet, I would love to become a vtuber and stream on Twitch someday or open my own small art business to sell prints and stickers as well as other things to get myself and my art out there into the world. The future is scary and I hope I can start to find a place for an artist like me.

Some of my hobbies include playing videogames like Pokémon, collecting things like anime figures, art prints, vinyl, and even some oddities! I obviously love making art and just overall being on the internet, especially looking at aesthetics or 90's/early 2000s nostalgia. I also have a serious addiction with decorating like everything I own, from patches on my denim jacket to covering my tech in stickers and making my car look spooky. I'd also say im a foodie as well, I love trying new foods and finding new favorite spots. I partically have a fond of japanese food like ramen, sushi, and takoyaki but I also love anything from a cheesesteak to a lox bagel.

I always have longed for the days of the internet that I grew up with in the early 2000s for pure nostalgia reasons and also because I loved the sense of community with the internet just being filled with pure knowledge back then. I could probably go on and on about social media nowadays good and bad just like the next person, but discovering neocities has been such a wonderful and healthy hobby that has been now included into my life. Learning html and discovering other people's safe spaces in their own customizeable corners of the internet have really been better for my mental health after being defeated from the constant fear mongering and brain rotting that Tik Tok and other social media's have given me. Not to mention I am totally stoked being able to take my obsession with customizing things to the next level by customizing an ENTIRE website just for myself and whichever skeletons come wondering in to see it.
